Welcome

The Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre (SART) is dedicated to presenting theatre of the highest professional quality thereby enriching the Southern Appalachian region through artistic programming, education, and outreach. Come hear from Bill Gregg, the company’s producing artistic director, as he previews the plays for the group’s 38th season that begins June 7, 2012,  and includes I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change; Harvey; The Light in the Piazza; Sweet Water Taste; and Sylvia.    Also learn about ScriptFEST, SART’s annual playwrights’ competition, now in its 31st year.  Learn how you might participate in that program as well as attend the November 2-4, 2012 conference where you will hear the readings of this year’s new play finalists, performed by professional actors and theatre arts students.  The Script FEST conference is free and open to the public.
